Third time lucky
I thought I would try my LUN lure again but earlier in the day, so put it out at 9:20am in a slightly different place in the garden. When I checked back half an hour later I was pleased to see a lovely Lunar Hornet Clearwing sitting inside the trap. Another one for the ever increasing set of records.

I'm impressed you managed to get the moth to sit still while you photographed it! My example the other day was a complete fidget.
ReplyDeleteI put it in the fridge for a bit, which calmed it down for its photo shoot before it flew off.
