A Blog for moth recorders in Bucks, Berks and Oxon
Hi Nic, it is very worn, but probably Monopis weaverella.
Thanks Adam. I hadn't appreciated how worn it was. Now looking at M. weaverella I see the probability of it being that species. Regards, Nic.
Emphasis on the word "probably". This does not constitute a record of M. weaverella becuase it is too worn to be safely distinguished from M. laevigella.
Thanks Martin. Absolutely. I won't be recording it. Regards, Nic.
