Narrow Winged Pug ?

I am assuming the below is indeed a Narrow- winged Pug ? However I thought I would check as I have never seen one and I'm struggling to think of the nearest Heather to Longwick!

  1. Hi Andrew, Yes, a Narrow-winged Pug with nicely contrasting crosslines, sharply angled. The pale post-median crossline is characteristic, and often (as here) a white spot adjacent to the discal mark. As you say it's a heathland species and as shown on the UT Atlas it is found particularly in the south of the region, near to heathland, but less commonly elsewhere (maybe the larvae can use cultivated heather?).
