A Blog for moth recorders in Bucks, Berks and Oxon
Reference to Ben Shelton’s recent post, this moth came to my MV trap in Wheatley on Saturday (excuse poor photo). Is this the same species ?

I think that is a Shark, partly based on flight period
I would also say Shark. The Wormwoods I've seen had black patches. I've had it in Garsington so I expect you will get one eventually.
Many thanks, Ben and Mark. I had Chamomile Shark earlier this year, and can see this is very similar and very different from Wormwood in appearance - so your ID must be correct.
