Ni Moth? plus two others for confirmation...or otherwise!

I think this is a Ni Moth, but it seems a bit dark in the centre of the wing compared with online images, so may just be an odd Silver Y.

This I think is Twin-spot Carpet,

and this I think is Wormwood Pug, rather than Currant Pug.

Thanks

  1. Hi Phil,
I think the first would be worth getting checked out by Peter. I'm not entirely convinced that it is Ni Moth and it could well be something like a very battered and worn Beautiful Golden Y. The very worn Twin-spot Carpet also needs checking because it isn't a common moth but I think that one is probably correct.

    1. Thanks Dave,
Unfortunately I didn't keep the 'Ni' Moth, so it will have to remain a 'maybe'. But I still have the Twin-spot, so will send off.
      Any comment on the pug?
      Thanks
      Phil
