Three Small Micros

All from yesterday but I've only got around the having a proper look at these today and have spent an unhealthy amount of time on them! Hopefully of interest and any ID help would be appreciated..... Thanks.

  1. Hi Nic,

This isn't going to be a lot of help, I'm afraid! The first is a Paraswammerdamia species. It is difficult to tell from that picture if the thorax is white or just worn. If white, then it'll be albicapitella, if not then nebulella. The second is probably a poorly-marked Bryotropha terrella (a very common species) but again difficult to be 100% sure. The third is a Coleophora species. There are more than 100 of them in the UK but only a handful can be taken to species from a photo and the rest unfortunately need dissection.
