More Light Feathered Rustics

I've had the moth trap out on a few occasions over the last month, but catches have been quite small.

I had this Light Feathered Rustic on 27th April, which took me a while to work out what it was, possibly because my last garden record was on 26th April 2007.

Then last night I had another, clearly a different moth.

I have no idea where they might be coming from.

  1. Another strange one. You'd think Bradenham but it hasn't been recorded there despite visits at the correct time of year. Grangelands isn't too far away and it is definitely resident there. Perhaps this is simply a good dispersal year for the moth, so the rest of us had better keep a good look-out!

  2. Ched had a third example in Radnage last night...
