Pug IDs

I do try with pugs, but am constantly baffled. My best guess for the first two of these is Mottled, the one with the paperclip rather worn, but I cannot even begin on the pair below. Sorry to be so hopeless, but I would much appreciate help.  Martin Wainwright, Thrupp, Oxon

  2. I would certainly have gone for Oak-tree and Brindled for the first two, which is comforting, but would have chickened out on the lower pair! Looking more closely now at the bottom one I can see how Martin arrived at Common Pug because of the warm brown colour and there's a hint of a whitish outer cross-line ending in a tornal spot.

I haven't seen Mottled Pug yet this year although it should be along very shortly. When fresh it is one of the easiest pugs to identify.
