Another Kent Black Arches

I trapped this moth in my garden in Merton on Friday 3rd July. I was a bit unsure until I saw the previous post, which convinced me. It's definitely a new one for me.

Also trapped this Oegoconia sp. which I think may be quadripunctata, but I think these can't be confirmed without dissection?

  1. Hi Linda,

Kent Black Arches is spreading quite well now and I'm sure you'll now see it regularly. I had my first here in Westcott in 2013 and it has been an annual visitor since 2015 (five so far this year). The other moth is indeed an Oegoconia but the three species really need dissection to separate.
